Nokia Drop Updated-Fixed Stability, Maps Integration-Chrome Extnsion and Firefox Add on 1.2 Released


Nokia Drop has been updated. In this update Nokia beta labs have fixed some stability issues and the problems with the Nokia Maps integration and they have also released Chrome extension and Firefox Add-on version 1.2.

Nokia Drop is a simple application that can easily push content and notifications to our Nokia mobile from public websites. Nokia Drop is developed based on the push notifications and hence requires no bluetooth connection or cable to push the content.

So using Nokia Drop we can
Send image to your phone
Send map view or send selected location from maps.nokia.com to Maps mobile client
Install apps, wallpapers, themes, ringtones from Ovi Store without SMS
Change your phone’s wallpaper
Send feeds to Nokia Reader or to native browser web feed
Send public URL to your phone browser* (ie. Nokia Browser or Opera Mobile)

Note: Transferring password protected or private content like images and URLs is not supported.

Supported Nokia Mobiles: -

Symbina S60 5th Edition mobiles and Symbian^3 mobiles.

Supported PC browsers: -

Firefox 3.6, 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 and Chrome (latest stable).

Working: – In order to work with the Nokia Drop we need to download a mobile application and a PC browser add on.
